I learned very significant information about these interviews. In some of them, the people had said how they felt and what they did during that time. Most of the people at that time had some type of job, even if it was not the best. Not all of the money was gained the same way though. Some people can get more money at a certain time than another person. In addition, the jobs were much harder and tough, as Mr. Garavelli Stonecutterhad said. In that interview, he had said a lot of stone cutters had died, and now they have gotten new and better equipment. Also he said that he did not make much money, but he did not get much silica. Each job was different and what was done wasn't the same. In another interview is Chris Thorsten . He was an iron worker. In his job, it would be difficult to do stuff. What he had said was, "You ain't an Iron worker unless you get killed...Men hurt on all jobs." What he was trying to say was that if you worked as an iron worker, things were not easy. Risks were made everyday and the people who did the job basically risks their lifes and it took all of their energy to do the work. That job mght have been paid more than the other jobs and it was definitely important. There were multiple jobs and they all had their significance during that time.
